Personalization & Memory
Let MomentumAI remember what matters to you.
The Personalization settings make the assistant smarter and more relevant to your specific work. By allowing the assistant to remember key facts and preferences, you get better, more consistent answers faster.

How Memory Works
Memory stores important facts and preferences, allowing the assistant to provide more personalized and relevant responses without you having to repeat information. When enabled, this information is used as context in every conversation.
Memories can be created in two ways:
- Manually by You: Directly add facts and preferences through the Memory settings.
- Assistant-Suggested: You can instruct the assistant to save specific pieces of information from your conversations.
You always have full control to review, edit, add, or delete any memory at any time.
Good examples of memories include:
- Your Role: "My role is Senior Product Manager at company X."
- Project Context: "I am currently working on project 'Phoenix', a new mobile app."
- Preferences: "Write answers in US English unless asked otherwise," or "Always use Markdown tables for data summaries."
Memory Settings
Reference saved memories
This main toggle controls whether the assistant can access your saved memories.
- On: The assistant will use your memories to personalize its responses.
- Off: The assistant behaves in a fully 'stateless' manner and has no knowledge of your preferences. Every chat is completely new.
Create and Manage Memories
Here, you manage the individual facts stored in the memory. You have full control:
- Click + Create Memory to add a new fact.
- Use the pencil icon to edit an existing memory.
- Use the trash can icon to permanently delete a memory.

You have absolute control over what MomentumAI remembers and how it enhances your experience. All memories are stored securely within the EU, ensuring full compliance with GDPR and the highest data protection standards.
